WHERE YOUR BEAUTY BEATS BY SEPHORA (NEW LAUNCHES) @ AUSTRALIAN TECHNOLOGY PARK

One of the most anticipated events of the year - Sephora's Showcase.
I always take time off work for this glorious day and this year was no exception. It just keep getting better, event after event. This year, Danny the Dog stole our hearts and hit the spotlight. Making us feel warm and fuzzy as we first entered, before doing our rounds at individual brand stands to check out what's new.

Let me tell you, there's a lot and here's a peak.
Hold on to your wallets guys, cos you will want your hands on some of the newbies!

CAUDALIE

Caudalie is a beautiful paraben-free skincare brand that uses active ingredients. Their latest launch is Caudalie Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum. This is a pore minimising serum that can be used to treat blackheads breakouts and excess oil. What's amazing about this product? The use of natural salicylic acid.

You can purchase this from Sephora Australia for $65 AUD

 STARSKIN

StarSkin's newest release is their Orglamic Pink Cactus range. The entire range uses organic prickly pear, to allow your skin to look beautiful and glow. The highlight of the launch is actually their Pink Cactus Serum Mist!

Find StarSkin on Sephora Australia's Website

ZOEVA

Zoeva's newest is their Heritage Collection. A beautiful range of smooth and long lasting eyeliner paired with smooth, pigmented and buttery eyeshadow palette + highlighter. The holographic-shimmer is real! This collection is a jaw dropper!

You can shop for Zoeva via Sephora Australia's Website

VOTARY

Votary launched a beautiful pillow spray, a mixture of lavender and chamomile. This spray smells divine and soothing. This spray is also anti-bacterial!!

 INDIE LEE

Indie Lee recently hosted their launch party and have already started to take Australia by storm in becoming a cult brand. Indie herself was at the event and is the most beautiful person, inside and out. Indie's products focus on clean ingredients.

You can purchase Indie Lee's range via Sephora Australia's Website

BRIOGEO

A fun new range of hair care - Brio means liveliness and Geo means earth. Briogeo brings 100% organic and nasty-chemical-free haircare products. Their Be Gentle, Be Kind Shampoo smells like fresh apples!

 OLE HENRIKSEN

Ole Henriksen is back with a dark spot reducing product - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner. Aimed to reduce acne spots, freckles, pigmentation... you name it. It was advised that results will appear after just a couple of weeks of use!

You can purchase Glow2OH Dark Spot toner from Sephora Australia's Website for just $38

 WANDER BEAUTY

This is the first time I've been introduced to Wander Beauty, their philosophy is "less is more" and have a knack for travel friendly/versatile products. Their On The Go Blush and Illuminator stick is my top pick.

You can purchase Wander Beauty from Sephora Australia's Website

 BYBI

Bybi Beauty is a green, vegan and cruelty free range. Bybi also have a heavy focus on being eco-friendly, their plastic looking packaging is carbon neutral. I tried their mist and one of the serum on my hand but yet to learn more.. So far, I love their philosophy!

BYBI will launch in Sephora on 20th of March 2019 - yay!

 MARC JACOBS

Marc Jacobs is bringing out an extension to their mechanical eyeliners, a beautiful palette and a new mascara/primer.

You can purchase Marc Jacobs from Sephora Austraia's Website

 NUDESTIX

Nudestix have some stunning cream cheek colours and cream highlighters. The sticks include bronzer and blushes, we received a demo of the beautiful coral shade being used. The new shades are Sunset Strip and Sun Kissed by Mary Phillips.

You can shop for Nudestix via Sephora Australia's Website

 GIVENCHY

Givenchy's newest is Le Rose Perfector Lippies, I swatched quite a few of the lip shades and found quite a few of them to contain a shimmer. The lippies will provide you with a builtable wash of colour and the effects of a moisturising lip balm.

You can purchase Givenchy via Sephora's Australia Website

 YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE

Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream is coming to Australia! Their products are beautiful and their creams feel like it's air-whipped. I have been using Youth to The People cleanser and it's so re-freshing.

First Aid Beauty is on a mission to rescue your skin and turn every day into a good skin day. Founded by Lili Gordon in 2009, she set out to create a line of skincare products that is effective in creating healthy looking skin.

I was whisked away by First Aid Beauty to celebrate their the launch of their brand spanking new Ultra Repair Tint Cream at The Island - YES over looking the harbour bridge, what a view!

With BB and CC creams a thing of the past, First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Tint Cream is an SPF 30 complexion perfector that's been clinically proven to provide 12 hours of continuous hydration, giving you coverage that won't flake off.

SEPHORA'S VIVID GLOW BAR - SYDNEY PITT STREET MALL - UNTIL 17 JUNE 2017

In conjunction to all the beautiful VIVID lights during one of Sydney's coolest month, Sephora presents it's very own Glow Bar. Sydneysiders are no longer wrapped up in their doona, sipping on a hot cup of tea at home during the cool season. It's winter-wonderland time.

Put on your coat or jacket, it's time to hit the city, stop by Sephora's Glow Bar to experience the various highlighting products available from Sephora before heading to Vivid or your night out.

Sephora makeup artists will ensure you leave the bar with your best glow forward. From natural subtle glows to striking coloured glows, whatever flatters your fantasies!

While you are there, learn from the experts! Find out the difference between cream and powder highlighters or learn some general application techniques.

One thing you must do is the at least swatch the colour highlighters, they are quite remarkable.

I visited the Glow Bar on a chilly Thursday evening to get my glow on, I decided to give the coloured highlighter a try! It's not something I would usually go for... the more reason I would want a professional to put it on me. Below is an unfiltered and unedited photo of my post-glow look. The product was applied to my brow bones, cheek-bones, nose bridge and the tip of my nose.

The product used on me was Kat Von D's infamous Alchemist Holographic Palette (available from Sephora, yay!), in the shade Amethyst. The highlighter is most visible when the light hits your face, I stood in a rather awkward spot hence the highlighter is most prominently seen on my nose. I have lots to learn about selfies!

Alright kids, you have until June 17th to check this awesome pop-up out! It's 100% free, just simply drop by for a minute or 10! It's located between Zara and Nespresso - you can't miss it.

EVENT: Cover FX World of Illumination @ The Butler, Potts Point

I discovered Cover FX when I attended Sephora's first showcase, I was given their foundation stick and fell in love with this beautiful brand. It was such a pleasure to attend Cover FX's illumination launch event at The Butler.

CoverFX is well versed in developing high quality products, including their Custom Enhancer Drops. At this special event, we were introduced to Cover FX's latest additions of heavy duty and effulgent illuminators.

Blossom, Halo and Rose Gold.

Remember those names because you will be hunting these concentrated Enhancer Drops at Sephora. A tiny drop goes a long way. My personal favourites are Halo (this holographic drop gave me an out of this world 3D highlight, it's omnipotent) and Rose Gold (you really can't go wrong with this shade, I promise). These are excellent for nights out, parties, special events, or if you wish to be the hippest shopper by rocking some serious highlight while buying groceries, go for it!

Say hello to my little friend.

Welcome an alcohol-free, mineral oil-free and talc-free setting spray that sets and illuminates. I'm telling ya, this unicorn business is serious.

Alongside all these wonderful releases is Cover FX Perfect Pressed Powder for touch ups and Perfect Highlighting Powder for all over illumination or on the go strobing.

Are you familiar with Cover FX's range of enhance and correct click sticks? They are portable and pigmented, the perfect addition to your travel kit or purse.

The illuminating journey continues with an Illuminating Primer, however if this unicorn business is too much for you that's ok  because there is a non-illuminating primer. Something for everyone!

And as always, it's not an event post without food photos...below is a little something to fuel your visual hunger.
