Quick and Easy One Brand Make Up Look with Maybelline

When I was 16, beauty was like a parallel universe that I wasn't quite in touch with. For my year 10 formal (throwing back 10 years now), my friend took me to Priceline to purchase some products for the formal night, that December afternoon, I owned my first mascara - Maybelline XXL. I will never forget that moment!

Maybelline has been a brand that I would frequently reach for, I'd often keep my keen eyes peeled whenever Priceline has a sale. This December marks the 10th year since I purchased my first Maybelline mascara and in order to cherish that memory, I decided to put together a one brand make up look featuring Maybelline products!

This look was incredibly easy and can be worn on an everyday basis.

Starting off with Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream, this tube is a more sheer and light weight in texture and coverage than the blue tubes, great for good skin days. For eyes, I used Maybelline Color Molten in Nude Rush, it is a gorgeous cream eye-shadow duo. The colours are quite sutble, not very pigmented and applies smoothly.

Instead of a pencil liner, I used Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner*, if you don't own this, you need to get it. I usually take 5-10 minutes going back and forth with eye makeup remover to get my cat/kitten flick on point. The tip of this liquid liner is so fine and precise, it makes application a lot easier. Then top off with a couple of coats of Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara.

For brows, I think I may have found my holy grail, Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Brown*. This mascara brushed through my bushy sparse brows perfectly, providing that sculpted look without making me look angry.

To complete the look, I puckered up with Maybelline's Coloursensational Lipstick in Yummy Plummy. See the full face make up in my short 2 min video application :)

  1. Maybelline's Master Precise is super easy for perfecting the winged eyeliner! The tip is just fine enough. The only grip I have with it is that it always dries up too quickly on me. By the 5th use of so, it's not as pigmented and it's all downhill from there :(

    1. Oh really? Dud product? Ive been using mine for a week and a half now and its been working fine. I do put mine in a pencil jar though..i find that if liquid liners are placed horizontally the oroduct doesnt come out. I thought my other liquid liners were ready for the bin until i started storing them vertically.
