The Perfect Travel Kit ft. Goodness Try Me Kit

Traveling means fussing around hunting down samples from under my bed to ensure I am well equip with the perfect skincare regime. Products are often mis-matched, too big or too small. I waste a lot of time digging through my stash and a lot of thoughts into which products I should take.

I'm off for a week and a half getaway in a few months time, I've been tossing and turning.. trying to make a list of skincare I should take. Most of my satchel cleansers/creams won't last the mile.

If you have the same problem as I do or if you don't have time and just want to "grab and go"... it's time to get to know Goodness Natural Beauty Lab Try Me Kit. With the exception of an eye cream and SPF, the kit has it all!

Price: $24.95
Where to Purchase? My Chemist, Chemist Warehouse, selected Woolworth and Priceline

The kit will cover you from day to night as well as the weekly scrub. Starting off with your mandatory daily Every Morning Moisturiser (20ml), the creamy formula will keep your face hydrated, the formula was light weight and worked well on my dry skin. To top off your holiday mornings, it possess a sutble sweet scent. This moisturiser does not contain SPF, so ensure to slip, slop, slap!

By the time you get home, from I get back from day of sight seeing I am itching to remove my makeup. Cream cleansers are my all time favourite and Every Day Cream Cleanser (20ml) has a refreshing cucumber scent that will gently melt your makeup and impurities, the texture is thinner than Rosehip Plus' Cleanser. I did use this around my eyes and did not experience any irritations. However for those with extra sensitive eyes, I'd still recommend an eye-make up remover in your travel kit. My only criticism is that the cleanser could be a little bit bigger (maybe a 30ml tube?), only because I use quite a big dose for each cleanse.

I absolutely loved the fact that the Every Week Face Scrub (10ml) is included in this kit! The usual travel kits only have your average day cream, cleanser and night cream, so this is really thoughtful! The scrub has small exfoliating beads to buff away the dead skin and again, a refreshing scent!

Even though this kit does not contain an eye cream, I often double up with an oil and apply the product around my orbital bones, the Certified Organic Chia Seed Oil (5ml) works as a fantastic moisturising agent around my eyes. It actually works better at ridding lines than some drug store eye creams! The Chia Seed Oil has a subtle oil scent, it's not my favourite smell but it's barely noticeable it unless you put the bottle to your nose. I definitely prefer this to some of my stale smelling oils.
Can we also take a moment to appreciate the cuteness of the dropper bottle!

I love a good night cream and my favourite product of the lot is Goodness Every Evening Cream (25ml), it has a fresh yet sweet scent, the product itself is a little thicker than the day cream but again, light weight, non-greasy and very moisturising. My skin absorbed this really well and you will not find any cream rolling off your face. Every Evening Cream also comes in a cute tub, so adorable!

This kit would probably last for about 2-3 weeks, I will definitely be getting this kit as my travel companion when I go away next year. It's also a fantastic method to try the range without committing to purchasing full size products until you know it's right for you!

  3. I love the packaging, especially the colour scheme! So clean looking and it really matches the brand. If that Chia Seed oil is so good, I'm going to have to get my hands on it because my eye wrinkles are looking bad at the moment and none of my creams seem to be helping!

    1. Have a go with the oil! I only use my eye creams on "good eye bag days"! The oil works so well but dont go too close to the eyes!
