How gorgeous is Spring? This sunny weather is giving my mood a much needed lift!!
In conjunction to this beautiful weather, Yves Saint Laurent recently launched a new Vinyl Cream Lip Stain. It's a high coverage lip stain with a shine! If you were at Vogue's Fashion Night Out you may have seen YSL's amazing pop up. Ali Shoraka, General Manager of YSL was present to cut the ribbon.
We were lucky to be able to experience YSL's pop up and try on Vinyl Cream Lip Stain before the evening commenced. As always, I rushed to the event from work so I felt exceptionally under dressed among influencers, media and models!
I hopped onto the makeup chair and was super keen to try the Vinyl (available in 12 gorgeous shades). My usual colour is a dull rose, dark nude or mauve (like the shade photographed below), so I decided to step outside of the square and try something else. The makeup artist recommended Corail Neo-Pop, it was a beautiful colour but looked very coral on me!!!! The Vinyl is very pigmented and full coverage. It's not like any stain I've tried before!
Below is a photo of YSL's Vinyl Cream Lip Stain in a gorgeous shade that I would reach for every day!
Sorry about my face... during the event we were given the opportunity to pose for our own Vogue cover photo. Believe it or not, I do not own a single copy of Vogue. During my teenage years I collected a fair amount of K-Zone (I know, I know), Dolly and Girlfriend Magazines, once I was done with those I more or less moved away from Magazines. I had no idea what girls on Vogue looked like or how they posed. As always, I gave my cheesy smile.. only to find out later on that girls don't smile on Vogue's cover! Why so serious!!!
I felt like my cover was more suited to Better Homes and Gardens or some sort of Home/Gardening magazine that is less serious. Nonetheless! I had fun!
Disclaimer: Lily not Louise attended this event as a guest of Yves Saint Laurent.
Aww, you're absolutely gorgeous! So bummed I missed out that day - I was stuck at work all day!
