Application

Verdict
Pro

This is my first cream blush, it was quite easy to apply with a brush (I didn't adhere to the finger tapping method because it didn't seem to blend too well).

I have olive skin and it gives me a natural flush, not too pink.

 Very sleek mirror compact :)

Con
The hair from your brush will get stuck in the blush -- I use a tooth pick to pick them out.. but you'll also get tiny fluff and what not as well. So, I really wouldn't use this as a lip product after I've dipped my brush into it. I guess you'll have to decide whether you want it as a blush or lip colour.

I didn't like it as a lip colour because it dried out my lips, it's quite a few shades lighter than my natural lip colour so it made me look washed out.

It's not as long wearing as my powder blushes.

Repurchase?

Maybe,  it takes me a long time to finish a blush and I'd like to try some other brands of cream blush for comparison.

  1. I just can't get the hang of cream blush application. My skin is so dry it just drinks it up and I end up with splotches of uneven colour lol...

    1. Oh my god yes! I've been using rosehip oil for the past year and it has changed my skin dramatically. I wasn't able to use this blush without making my peeling skin more noticeable. Luckily, my skin had a sporadic turn around!.. but i think it also depends on the weather, I can't use cream blush during winter hehe.

  2. It is a pretty colour but I have to say that it is quite pricey for a blusher. :) I normally pay no more than £15 for blushers. :P

As it is creamy textured it gathers a lot of unwanted dust or hair. ><

    1. The prices here are a bit ridiculous, it's usually double of whatever the cost is overseas. Oh you are so right, I would never fork out $40 for a blusher!! Thank goodness for websites like StrawberryNet and online shopping!!!
