Lush turned 30 and I was lucky to be able to celebrate this special occasion with them! Lush is one of my favourite bath brands, they always try to be sustainable and eco friendly with their naked bars/bath bombs and recycling program. It's an incentive to be green. 

At this event, we had the opportunity to look through some of the newest releases as Lush opens their door in Japan - I know, how exciting!!!! We also had the opportunity to make our very own bath bombs. 

Here is something really special - we were able to select 4 bath bombs and a scarf to wrap the bath bombs. I have since washed the scarf and started wearing it. This is a another great step to sustainable packaging. I had a blast playing with the bath bombs and marvel at the beautiful colours.

Lush Fathers Day Edition 2017

Happy Father's Day!

I can't believe how quickly Father's Day has come around this year, I still remember featuring Lush's father's day products for 2016.

It is almost impossible to purchase presents for my dad, he only asks for 2 things, money and lotto tickets. For the past 8 years I have been purchasing lotto tickets for him every single year and he'd win an odd $5 here and $2 there. I somehow managed to work my magic and convinced my dad to start using skincare. It was difficult to begin with as he wanted no part of this "excessive routine". Eventually he was able to see the drastic changes skincare had made to my mum's face, he was intrigued... well.. more like a closet skincare-curious individual - if that even makes sense. It's been quite the breakthrough, 2017 has been a great year and Dad is finally openly using and loving skincare. When I go home every few weeks he would ask for top ups. YESS! I feel like my duty as a daughter is now fulfilled. This year's gifting was super easy. LUSH.

Lush Mother's Day Collection 2017

My goodness, Mother's Day is just creeping up. I can't believe we are in May and by next month, we will be in mid year. Where did this year go!!!?!?

This is a bright and zesty soap, layer of toning tangerine and mandarin. I personally love Lush's soap, is it me or is it filled with oils cos it's so hydrating and not like other soaps. I've already used a quarter of this soap and it's great for waking you up in the morning!

Sorry mum, I am keeping this for myself! This is up there with the chocolate orange and popcorn lip scrub. I am a love of honey (especially honey madeleine cakes) and this reminds me of cake. It's good enough to eat ;)

Lush Easter Collection 2017

Easter is our favourite time of the year, chocolate and bunnies what could be better!? Oh... to top things off, don't forget about the public holidays. It's been a while since we had a public holiday so this is well deserved!

If you love Jaffa, you will LOVE this lip scrub. Popcorn lip scrub was on the top of my list for a long time, I think this Chocolate lip scrub is topping the chart. A delicious sugary scrub with an added choco-orange experience on your lips. This will definitely satisfy chocoholic cravings.

CHOCOLATE EASTER EGG SOAP $6.95 per 100g

Chocolate soap!? This is not a dream! Your skin (and your bathroom) will love you and this soap infused with lemon oil and vegan white chocolate. I've had this soap in the bathroom for a while and my entire bathroom smelt like chocolate, vanilla and citrus. Following use, my skin felt extremely nourished and my skin smelt amazing!

WHICH CAME FIRST? (SPOTS) $9.95

My bathbomb arrived a little bit banged up so I wasn't able to take it out of it's packet! I did however poured the remaining bits and pieces in the bath and let me tell you it was Easter wonderland in a bath with Sicilian lemon and grapefruit oil waters. How else to celebrate your Easter?!

CHICK N MIX $11.95

This is a super cool bath bomb, a chick with an egg in inside, surprise! Such a brillant design! This is a sweet and zingy bomb with comforting tonka absolute and refreshing bergamot oil.  I have given this bathbomb to my partner, he had dibs as soon as he saw it, it's too adorable!

I am taking a week off this Easter, I will be surrounded by a lot of food (and hopefully good weather with a lot of sun!)

LUSH Valentine's Day Collection 2017

My partner was the first guy to gift me a hand made Valentine's Day card. V'day was never really a thing to me until I received my first handmade card! He made the day special for me, in a sense that I became more demanding and wanting hand made cards every Valentine's, Birthday and Christmas!!! What you see above with the beautiful Lush goodies are just a few cards my partner made for me :)

Unfortunately due to our now busy work schedule, handmade cards are rare... now we just give each other Lush!

This smoothing blend of fine sea salt, caster sugar and fair trade cocao butter will soften the skin and leave a delicious taste on the lips. A little almond and mandarin oil sweetens, and the edible hearts are just for enjoyment!

I have always loved Lush's lip scrubs, I've owned Mint Julips and Popcorn (the most delicious of all - I kind of started eating it rather than using it as an actual scrub.....). I am so excited that there are edible hearts in this lip scrubs, makes the product even more special!

THE KISS LIP GLOSS $9.95

Pucker up, this beauty is infused with fair trade shea butter from the Ojoba women's cooperative in Ghana. This soft hydrating butter will moisturise your lips while the Kalahari melon and organic jojoba oils add a touch of the exotic. Organic illipe oil and agave syrup to give a lovely slip and delicious shine to your lips.

This is more of a balm that will give you a gorgeous shiny and frosty lips. It's super moisturising due to the shea butter and lasts for hours. Your lips won't experience any post-balm dryness.

Lush Christmas Showcase @ Lush QVB, Sydney

Every Christmas I head over to Lush to take advantage to their incredible Xmas sale, no matter how long the line is I WILL WAIT! Lush never disappoints and this year's Lushmas is as incredible as every other year.

I was lucky to attend Lush's recent Christmas preview, every time I go to Lush I feel like a kid in a candy store... and you'll know what I mean after seeing these photos! The products are so beautiful that I didn't even need to edit my photos.

This year, there are fabulous gift boxes, Christmas themed bath bombs, bubble bars... there is something for everyone, all age and gender.

Believe it or not, we actually got to make our very own Lush Bath Bombs and it was a lot easier than expected! This practical experience really reminds me of the amount of love put into each handmade lush product.
