I.C.O.N INDIA Range Haircare Review

I was really lucky to receive some fabulous products from I.C.O.N to try out!

It was so exciting, I've been using whatever mum buys from Coles pretty much all my life, and soap when I was a bub. This is the first time I got to try some prestigious hair care products.

As usual, I'll have all the ingredients up for the products.

 Shampoo
Shampoo Ingredients

The products possessed an amber scent, it was quite potent, but I really liked it. The shampoo lathered up beautifully. It looked so pearly when I squeezed it out of the bottle ^_^

My hair smelt incredible after the wash, the slight amber scent resonated within my hair after the wash.

Conditioner
Conditioner Ingredients

I never ever use conditioner (I know, I know!) I hate it because it sticks to my hair, it "clots" and its' hard to wash off.

To be honest, I was hesitant to use the conditioner at first.... but my goodness, it was so easy to use and wash off. My hair felt so smooth, soft and clot-free.

Healing Spray
Healing spray Ingredients:

Aqua, Proplyene glycol, behentrmonium methosulfate cetearyl alcohol, amodimethicone, cetrimonium chloride trideceth-12, moringa oleifera seed oil, argania spinosa oil, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, hydrolyzed silk, hydrolyzed quinoa, tocopheryl acetate, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate ascorbyl palmitate, trimethylsiloxyamodimethicone, tetrasodium edta, citric acid, polysorbate20, maltodextrin, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, isopropyl palmitate, isohexadecane, sodium benzotriazolyl butylphenol sulfonate buteth-3,tributyl citrate, parfum, phenoxyethanol, capryl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, hexlyene glycol, red4, yellow33, blue1, yellow 10.

I tried the healing spray (be aware that it's not in fluid  form!). The dispenser will spray little bits of product on your hair and you'll have to quickly comb through it because they were quite slippery. Some of the leave in products I've tried left an off white residue in my hair and it would cause my hair to stick together.. but this didn't leave a trace of product, and my hair was perfectly separated. The healing spray is great to reverse damage and bind moisture.

Oil ingredients:

cyclomethicone dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, moringa oleifera seed oil, argania spinosa oil, isopropyl palmitate, parfum.

I didn't jump on the argan oil band wagon, I always wondered why people would put oil in their hair!? It'll make your pillow cases dirty!... I was really hesitant to try the oil but I gave it a go anyway. The texture was a tiny bit gooey to begin with, once it is rubbed into your hair, it is incredibly smooth and silky. No oily residue. The oil is excellent for detangling, strengthing and adding smoothness.

I had shiny and nice smelling hair that lasted for days. I tried to take some before and after pictures but it didn't work out. My hair is long, black, straight and quite thick, it would reflect off anything.

So... I thought I'd go share the product with someone else to show you guys the before and after effect. Let's call this person M.

M's hair is very thin, easily tangled and knotted. It is difficult to wash and untangle after wash.

Here's the before and after effect - See for yourself, I was in awe!
