Lust Have It August 2013 - Celebration

It's LHI's Birthday Month! I was super excited because it's my birthday month as well and I couldn't wait to dig into my goodies!

La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water
RRP $21.95 for 300g
Received 50g

I've seen this before, but I wasn't sure why people used it. Apparently it's good to sooth and protect the skin. Or use after cleansing. A very novel product for me!

Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator in Pink Light
RRP $29.95 for 30ml

Used to enhance your skin. Can be used under, above or with your foundation. Apparently it will minimise flaws as well.

A very interesting product. I hate using full coverage foundations etc so I'm really keen to try this with powder !

KMS California Free Shape Hot Flex Spray
RRP $31.95 for 200ml
Received 30ml

The other option was the volumising spray. I don't use a lot of hair products but I probably should, especially with the sort of crazy wind that's been blowing around lately.

SinfulColours Nail Polish in Folly
RRP $4.95 for 15ml

I really like this colour, it's a pinkish red with a purple undertone. I think I'll be using this on my toe nails. My hands just can't do red!

La Roche Posay LIPIKAR Balm
RRP $37.95 for 400ml
Received 15ml

This product is great to replenish dry skin. It's paraben, soap, fragrance free! Great for treating eczema prone skin and extreme dryness. This can be used on babies and children. From what I read on the factsheet, this is for the body.

LUSH Gorgeous Cream
RRP $74.95 for 45g
Received 10g

Holy crap, that's some expensive cream! This this a lovely vegetarian product, filled with vitamins, great for softening. It smells very herbal.

Free Shape Shampoo
RRP $28.95 for 300ml
Recieved 12ml

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation Samples

A useful product if you are looking to purchase some revlon foundations. However, I have enough foundations to last me for a few years. Not sure what I can use this for? The darker ones for bronzer and the lighter for concealer?? lol

I am really pleased with LHI this month. A box full of fantastic products and I'd use every single one.
I received this box on my birthday, great timing LHI! ^_^

    1. Thank you Greta! Looking forward to the September LHI Box! ^_^

  2. this month's box was pretty good :) i didn't even think about using the revlon foundation swatches as bronzer.. great idea! your skinlights looks good, mine is pretty dark and although it might work as a bronzer, I'm not a fan on the whole shimmer look. I think I just come out looking sweaty :) hehe, I'll have to have a play around with it to see how it works best for me. :)

    1. Oh yeah, I completely over looked the shimmer. I would probably just use it as a highlighter during summer, I get quite sweaty lol

  3. Holy Crap that's some expensive cream! I always have to make sure I am not in the middle of a mouthful of coffee when I read your blogs so I don't burst out laughing :oD

I'm with you on the red polish straight to the toes!

    1. Thank you Jac!!! hahah awww, except for when you read my month in food posts, best read with munchies ^_^

  4. what an awesome lust have it box! makes me wish i still subscribed to them ! the revlon product and kms products look awesome to try! happy bday as well!

    1. Aww I'm only subscribed to LHI now. My BB annual subscription ended and I didn't feel like there was any product that made me go wow in the last few months

  5. Wow wow wow! I am lusting over the box ._. I wish they mail it to Singapore too haha.

    1. I heard they are going to launch in NZ, *fingers crossed* that it might go global ^_^

  6. I basically got the same box as you, it was a pretty good box this month. LHI have certainly improved with their last few boxes, hope they keep up the good work :)
