Fountain La Molecule Phyto-Collagene and The Hyaluronic Molecule Review

Beauty supplements is a bit of a novelty for me, I don't take any health related supplements and I certainly have never taken beauty supplements. My skin is far from being great, I have a million little pores and freckles on my cheeks - some may have morphed into one.. porkles. Acne scars, puffy under eyes, fine lines on my forehead and emerging tiny lines under my right eye.

My skin has been tested twice, on both occasions I've been told that my skin is incredibly dehydrated. I'm always cautious about taking supplements, or random products that's not provided by my doctor.

But... after reading a few different reviews I took a leap of faith and decided to give both products a go with hopes of unlocking better skin.

My Verdict

The Hyaluronic Molecule
I didn't mind the flavour, it's quit sweet and zangy. The high viscosity texture took some getting use to ... I guess I could've blended into my juices and food but I was too lazy!
I consumed two teaspoons per day, although I was naughty and skipped a day here and there... still pretty consistent most days. The whole bottle took approximately 2.5-3 months to finish.
I had high hopes for this product after reading several extremely positive reviews. Now the million dollar question... DID IT WORK? I really don't know... Unfortunately, unlike the reviews I have read, my skin did not glow after a month of intake and did not receive any compliments on the appearance of my skin :( My lines, pores and the whole shebang were all there. My skin did break out a couple of weeks after my overdose on chocolates + various other junk over the Christmas/New Year. Lately, my skin has been good and looking even... I'm not sure if that's the Hyaluronic supplement taking effect or the fact that I've been pretty active and changed in my diet.

The fact that I did skip a day of intake every now and then may have affected the overall outcome, but I can't say for certain - I did end up finishing the whole bottle though.

La Molcule Phyto-Collagene

Unfortunately I was unable to trial this product, it's been sitting in my pantry for a few months, I decided to give it a go since I finished my Hyaluronic bottle. I poured a dose to my teaspoon and was surprised that it was not a gel-like consistency, rather it was very watery even after I had given the bottle a shake. I drank it anyway, and it tasted off, bitter and extremely sour - kinda like off young coconut water.

It smelt off and tasted off, so I quickly tipped the content out before I could even take a photo (sorry guys). The use by date was not until later this year and I did not open it. I'm assuming it may have been the heat in my pantry from the intermittent scorcher Sydney weather. If you have a bottle in your pantry, you might want to put it in the fridge.

I was really upset that this happened to my bottle *cry* I had high hopes since I wasn't quite sure whether the Hyaluronic formula worked on me, perhaps a collagen boost would be effective. Ahhh such is life. BUT.. I'm trying a few other products from DECIEM and I can tell you now that I love them! So stay tuned!

  1. This is actually a really interesting review! I've heard from friends who've taken Japanese beauty supplements that they do take a fair bit of time to work.

That sucks that the Collagen bottle turned off! Would have been good to hear your thoughts on it!

  2. Shame about that second bottle! And that overall it didn't seem to do very much - ah well!

  3. Sucks that the collagen bottle went off, I hate when stuff like that happens! I used to take a bunch of beauty supplements like vitamins but honestly didn't really see much of a difference in my hair, skin and nails. Water consumption, however, I always notice when I am dehydrated!
