Verdict

I've been wearing this for well over a week on my accent fingers and I love it. No chips, no peels.
Initially when you open the packet you'll catch a whiff of that terrible lacquer smell.. rest assured it goes away promptly.

I have tiny fingers so I like to cut the big sticker in half. The application takes a few trial and errors. Instead of filing (which I've tried - it was awful because the sticker began to wear) I trimmed around the edge of the sticker with one of those small scissors people use to trim their brows.

I've been washing my hair, showering and clipping my nails as per usual, the sticker stayed put perfectly.

I am dreadful when it comes to nail polish application, I may as well dip my fingers in nail polish. Fing'rs highly recommended if you have poor fine motor coordination like me.

KUU Konjac Sponge with Natural French Red Clay

Product Information

History- In Japan the Konjac (konnyoku) sponge was used for its medicinal properties. It is now being used as a beauty treatment for delicate skin.

The Sponge- The red clay sponge is loaded with iron oxide. This sponge deep cleanses and exfoliates the skin from the layers of dead cells, accelerating the regeneration process to leave the skin hydrated and looking radiant. It will leave a soothing effect on irritated, sun-burnt and sensitive skin. It can also help rosacea.

Ideal for mature and/or dry skin that needs rejuvenating. Reduces the appearance of fine lines and broken capillaries.

Naturally pH balanced alkaline (8.4pH) which neutralises any acids (oil and dirt)

Uses- Face cleansing and bath sponge

How to use

1. Rinse before use then gently massage till sponge has absorbed water
2. Use the sponge in circular motion alone or with cleanser
3. Rinse sponge after use (do not wring) hang to dry
4. Sponge will harden when dry; re-hydrate in warm water before use again
5. If damaged or worn add to compost for decomposition

How long can I use it for?  2-3 months before damaged or worn

****Information above was retrieved packet***

RRP $9.95  Received from my December Eco Box 2012

Ingredients: 100% Natural Konjac Fibre vegetable plant root extracted from the plant Amorphophallus konjac.

Verdict

I've used the sponge both with and without cleanser. I love the texture, it's delicate to your skin but still gives your a nice face massage.
After cleanser, I still need to scrub off some flaky skin and the sponge was difficult to clean as it absorbed most of the cleanser.
I prefer to use it without cleanser. I'd give my face a little cleanser-less clean with the sponge every morning, my skin feels much cleaner, free from the oil and dust collected over night.

I have very sensitive skin and I haven't experienced any irritations.

Re-Purchase?

A great concept. I really admire how environmentally friendly it is. The longevity of the sponge might bother me. The Shiseido brush I'm using lasts for up to 10+ years. Unfortunately I don't think I will be purchase, I'm glad I received this to try in my Eco box though!

Maddies Cafe - Hurstville Westfield

This place serves up delicious food and generous portion

Vanilla ice cream, crepes, strawberries and strawberry coolie --  YUM! - but not as good as The Ultimate from pancakes. Approx $16

Maddies' Big breakfast - Approx $16

I love wholesome breakfast. Generous amount of garlic and ginger in mushrooms.
I'd definitely order this again.

KFC $5 Snack

I've converted to trash eats because I've been digging a hole in my wallet.

1. Potato and gravy
2. mini sub with chicken, lettuce (or lack thereof) and mayo
3. Wicked wing
4. Small fries
5. baby pepsi

A sweet deal, filled my tummy up quite nicely!

San Churro - Darling Harbour

We thought it would be a fantastic idea to have pizza for dinner the night before, left over pizza for breakfast and San Churro for lunch....

Crema Y Fresa- $7.50

White chocolate, real strawberries & vanilla ice-cream

You can taste the seeds of the strawberries and the white chocolate. I assume the vanilla ice cream was blended into the shake, as none was present to the naked eye. A generous dollop of cream on top!

Mango Tango - $7.50

White couverture chocolate with mango sorbet.
Summer in a shake! The white chocolate was masked by the mango sorbet. Nice thirst quencher though.

Fruit Fondue for Two - $20

Mini churros, strawberries, banana, kiwi fruit and pineapple with a fondue of pure melted couverture chocolate

Delicious.....we got dark chocolate, there's a choice between white and dark.

We left a little picture present for the good people at San Churro!

Snack Pack!

Cafe 41 - Penshurst

Pumpkin
Pumpkin, olives, feta and spinach I think. I didn't like this as much. I didn't feel there was a balance between the ingredients as they are all polar opposites. The pumpkin were very sweet. The olives were salty and feta too sour.

Hawaiian
I don't usually order pineapple and ham pizzas... but the ham was succulent and the pineapple was sugar cane sweet. Delicious combo and a shit load of cracked pepper, just the way I like it! Definitely order again.

Approx $12 per regular pizza

Generally serves one person .. but I guess you can share if you eat like rabbits.

ZenQ ......Again - Townhall

Couldn't stay away.

Got Strawberry Lovers again too..

Chatime have hot beverage?! Mind blown .. I'm so behind on this milk tea thing. It was a pretty cool day so we decided to get a cuppa..

Below is Roasted Milk Tea. I liked it. It's got at least 3 sugar in there! A little watered down but the flavour is enjoyable. I'd order it again.

Pic below is the Green Tea Latte. Probably 0-1 sugar? Heavy green tea flavour, not too milky. Pass if you have a sweet tooth!

India Times - Mortdale

I love Indian food. I start craving every now and then.

Cheese Naan
Delicious, fresh and very cheesy!

Malai Kofta
Home made cottage cheese and potato dumplings in a delicious mild sauce (mild)

Too much cottage cheese makes me feel a bit sick, but this dish was delicious. Quite spicy but balanced out well with the naan.

Vegetable Korma
A selection of fresh vegetables in a smooth creamy curry

Peas, capsicum, potato, cauliflower and I think some eggplant. All vegies were steamed. Not as crunchy as your usual vegies. It melts in your mouth a little. Great if you like a creamier "sweeter" curry.

Saffron Basmati Rice

Mango Kulfi
Indian style ice cream flavoured with cardamom, mango & nuts

Different to your usual ice cream. It's more icy and less creamy. Loved the flavour and nuts.
